was very very relaxed for scheme exam...perhaps far too much...
not like it mattered
not like studying would help
scheme exam paper only seemed to increase exponentially in difficulty in each year...let's see, 2007 scheme->java question, code was given, you only need to convert correctly...this year, code not given, code was referenced from problem set 3, the widely-agreed hardest problem set that everyone took a minimum of a whole full day to complete...did the teacher really expect us to reproduce a 1< day more on the spot? even studying the particular problem set right beforehand might not have been much help...
is he overestimating us? or is it that i'm just that lousy?
lambda was fine, for once...the second qn, something close to OOP, my answer is a little different from the model answer, not too sure if it's correct...i spent about 45 min on that question? madness...the third was on streams and again, it was exponentially harder than the previous year...
speaking of which, before the exam ended, the professor informed us that the solutions are already posted on ivle...yes, he posted the solution/opened to solution folder during the time we were taking the exam...everyone goggled and gave a wtf laugh (...at least i think it was a wtf laugh, you can never tell)
operations management...now i'm looking at theory of constraints and hey, the textbook only have two pages on it which the lecture slides are in point form, rocking...apparently most of the information comes from the reference text (i assumed, since there were many pages of the reference text stated in the topics covered as compared to the required text) which can't be found online...
on a side-note, it seemed most people have finished their exam...
blehh
