the day before

let's see, i have 2 down, 4 more tests to go...

and tmr basically is judgment day...why? i have to score 50% on the test in order to pass overall...possible? i think not...

subject: CS1231Y Discrete Mathematics
topics: stuff that i will never understand and looks like greek
studying progress: attempted but still look greek, makes one lose motivation to study fast

understanding: 10% (for topics like truth table, functions, graphs/circuit)
past achievement: just passed for quiz 1 (due to true/false, tick questions), failed quiz 2 (apparently my MI is quite bad? lack of practice? maybe...or just simple "don't understand")

overall standing now: 25% (hence the need to pass the EOY to get the rest of the 25%)

resolution: i shall drop computing if i fail 1231
like hell i'm gonna retake

conclusion: 1231 is hard

i have no idea what i had copied in class for some of the tutorials, totally senseless...and guess what, my tutor (who btw is rather good as compared to the rest) actually expects us to present...possible? riiiight...so there goes at least half of my class participation...wao

so i'm decent in the earlier topics, but since they have been tested, i seriously doubt much of it will come out again...so i'm stuck with reflexitivity, symmetry and transitivity...and bipartite graph (what? you thought it was H2 graph...pssh, that's chicken compared to this)

i have no idea how the other computing students are surviving when supposedly they aren't supposed to best of the batch, if you get my meaning...

all in all - smart people get to slack and take easy subjects like business, not-so-smart people have to work hard and mug hard to do difficult subjects like (extremely cheem) maths and programming...the oxymoron, irony, paradox...

death, here i come
