*blinks* i'm still alive
status check after 23 dec huh (ie. after release of results)
so the paper was easier than expected
...keyword! "than expected"! meaning it's still hard, only not as bad as i imagined (i imagined to be unable to do a single qn, go figure)
on passing...that's another matter altogether...
so yar, there was this qn on encoding (0=aaa, 1=aab...25=aba...) find 100, decode f-u-n, and encode 18000...100 was okay...f-u-n was not (pun intended), i spent quite alot of time doing manually cause no miracle came and enlighten me if there's a shortcut...18000, i think i took 10 min? before i realised that hey, it can't be encoded (the qn subsequently was does the system work...)
then another qn to spot the error in proving...er, i anyhow whacked, say he jump to conclusion and stuff...then next qn, prove the statement correctly and the hint was to rework the earlier proof...wao, let's just say i don't even have any idea what the previous proof was writing...
the horrors of CS1231Y, luckily i'll never see it again...now it's either a pass or fail...hopefully, they do adjustments and everyone does badly so that my marks won't be that bad on the bell-curve...
next up: CS1101S
did i mention failing both the midterm and the practical? no? well, now you know...
then again, overall i need only 4/30 to pass overall (meaning 50% overall)...apparently my problem set is of a decent grade (all the working during lecture and weekend and bugging christina and novita, it better be!)
now the dilemma is...how am i gonna finish studying MNO1001? technically i finished all the lecture slides, but i left quite a number of e-reading (which are approx 10 pages on pdf, 2 columns each page, font size = 8 maybe?), the textbook (which i don't really plan on reading)...so let's just hope for the best...i shall calculate how much i need to pass MNO on sunday (if i didn't remember wrongly, it was 7% more?)
DSC2006...er, let's hope the professor actually remembers to attach the formulas for us huh...there's already a bunch of other things that need to be memorised, so memory space is kinda short...
speaking of which, i suddenly forgot how to do income statement in qn4 after i finished it in qn1 for ACC1002 exam...best right?
...see the trend? i'm only concerned if i can pass...and i'm supposed to get CAP 4.0? best joke of the century...
i'm turning rather sarcastic, cynical and pessimistic...hmmm
exam does that to people
or actually, i think i have always been that way, so i shall not blame er-ah, innocent objects (ie. exams)
why am i blogging consecutively?
